A charity is an organisation
that holds a valid registered charity number. The head office or national
headquarters of the organisation is recognised as the master account. Any
regional offices, fund raising groups, branch offices and shops elsewhere can
register by referral from the master account thus creating multiple and
measurable income streams. After completing the required verification procedure
all charity accounts will have the Ei42 Confirmed Charity logo enabled for
further peace of mind to people who join Ei42 to help support your charity.
Master charities can elect to control payments from regional offices,
fund raising groups, branch offices and shops. Options are;
a. Master
account controls the income of all accounts directly referred to Ei42.
b.
Sub account will have individual control of their income.

Charity Verification Procedure
Once you have
joined, to confirm your charitable status
with Ei42 please send a copy of the charity letterhead, stating the charity
name, registered address and charity number together with the contact details
of the person who should be contacted in the event of any queries either by fax
or email.
Individual Charity Accounts
In certain instances
such as where individual charity shops have already registered with Ei42 or
where individual fundraising outlets are eligible to use a national charities
registration number, Ei42 can still enable the Ei42 confirmed charity logo.

Ei42 provides a FREE service
where as a club, organisation or fundraising group your members and supporters
can shop with their favourite online stores and at no extra cost raise funds
for any purpose or group you have chosen to support. As an individual you still
shop directly with each retailer as you normally would but by using the shop
links contained within Ei42 you can choose to access both your own personal
rebate and also generate a commission for your cause. You can shop with around
1500 Top Brand retailers and still raise funds whilst saving yourself money on
each and every one of your purchases.
It seems very generous, but when
you buy online the cost to the retailer is much lower. As there’s no shop,
salesperson, heating, electricity or rates, retailers are more than happy to
help good causes when new online customers are introduced to them via our
website.
Will I pay anything extra? No. You pay exactly the same prices
as if you visited each retailer’s website directly.
